HESA Data Futures for 4.41

The following changes have been made to the HESA Student-Data Futures module for 4.41:

Use of HESA Data Futures is controlled by the EBS4HESAALT licence.

  • Tables have been created to hold Module data.

    • MODULE_DELIVERY_ROLES

    • MODULE_SUBJECTS

    • MODULE_COST_CENTRES

  • A table has been added to hold Course Initiative data.

    • UI_HESA_COURSE_INITIATIVE

  • In Central admins can set course initiatives against a course's curriculum details.

  • The database has been updated so that the correct verifiers for funding year 29 in HESA details Qual Category are shown.

  • A tables has been creates to hold Location data.

    • HESA_STUDY_LOCATIONS

  • Web services have been added to allow creation and updates to records in the locations table.

  • The PEOPLE_UNITS_SPECIAL_HESA table has been updated to hold Engagement data required for the Student Return.

Service Pack 2 Changes

  • A new tab for HESA Course Role records has been added to the Curriculum Details > Unit Instance screen in EBS Central.

  • Fields and data types in the Curriculum UIO Details HESA Student Alternative tab, Learner Details, and Enrolment Details screens in EBS Central Client have been updated to match HESA DF usage to make it easier to provide the required information.

  • Study Location can now be recorded in the Enrolment Details screen in EBS Central Client.

Service Pack 3 Changes

  • HESA reference data for Term-time Accommodation can now be entered and used directly for the HESA DF return and also mapped to LSC_VERIFIERS for the ILR return for institutions that need to be able to return both ILR and HESA DF.

  • A number of field labels and lookups have been updated to reflect the Data Futures terminology to make it easier to manage data.

  • Where an EBS4HESAAlt license is active a new tab has been added to the enrolment screen for unit instances with a UI level of HESA level 2. This allows you record Supervisor Allocations for Doctoral research students.

  • Web services have been added for the Module subjects and Attainment fields.
